End-to-end encryption (E2EE): when you sign up, your app generates a key pair. The public key is shared with your contacts; the private key never leaves your device.
Key exchange: each conversation protects its messages with derived keys; the server never sees the content.
Identity by email: you register with your Google account (verified email) and others add you by that email. Switching devices keeps your identity.
Pending messages: if the recipient is offline, the encrypted message stays in a server queue and is delivered when they return. Nothing is lost.
Text only (by design): the app includes emojis and icons, but no photos or videos: less footprint, fewer risks.
Each message shows its status next to it: โ sent, โโ received, โโโ read, โณ sending and โ on failure.
